Just Launched! — Aha! Mobile Now Available for Android™

by Jessica Groff

Apple users were excited to access their product roadmapping data on the go when we launched Aha! mobile a few months ago. But what about Android users? There was some sadness. We promised that it would not last for long.

Today is your day — Aha! mobile is now available for Android™.

The new mobile app for Android™ gives you the ability to view, edit, and add product data from wherever you are. Quickly search and locate records in Aha! (goals, initiatives, releases, features, or ideas) to view the latest product plans.

You can also collaborate with your team by assigning records, adding comments, or capturing important ideas and features as those items come up. The mobile app is free to download. All you need is an existing Aha! trial or paid account to get started using it.

Let’s take a look at what you can do while you are in between meetings or any time you are away from your computer:

Track your work When you log in to the app, the “My work” page shows you everything currently assigned to you — including releases, master features, features, requirements, ideas, and to-dos. See all of your assigned work in one place so you can quickly prioritize where to focus.

Log in with the same email address and password you use to access your Aha! account.

Get real-time updates Stay informed of the team’s progress. Click through email notifications on your phone to open them directly in the app. If you are not currently receiving notifications via email, you will want to update your preferences in the main web application.

Click on a record link from your email on your phone to open it in the mobile app.

Find key product information Navigate to any product or product line and then use search to find exactly what you are looking for. You can even search for a specific record type — including goals, initiatives, releases, features, or ideas. Unsure which product a feature belongs to? Use the global search to locate records across your portfolio.

Apply filters to narrow your search results.

Edit and collaborate on records Assign features, update statuses, or change the description of a requirement to ensure that your product plans are always kept up to date. There is now no need to wait until you “get back to your desk” to share new info when key decisions have been made or the roadmap has changed.

Rich text formatting is not available in Aha! mobile — feature descriptions that were created via the main web-based application will be read-only in the mobile app.

Add ideas and features to the backlog Capture that brilliant idea you thought of while eating dinner or add new features to the backlog while you are at the dog park. Get your product data into Aha! right away so nothing gets missed.

With the mobile app, you can add new goals, initiatives, master features, features, requirements, ideas, and to-dos.

Busy product managers can now stay connected to the team and get work done from anywhere.

So, what are you waiting for? Get busy. Download the Android™ app today.

And if you are an Apple user and missed the announcement of the new iPhone app, you can download it as well.
