We have all been there. You are working closely with the team. Defining requirements, iterating quickly on designs. Everyone is pushing hard to get the feature definitions completed. But now you need to revert to an earlier version of your mockups. But where are those designs? Did someone save over them?
We recently launched Aha! mockups — giving you a world-class online wireframing and diagramming tool built right into Aha! It is perfect for product managers, business analysts, and program managers. But we realized that it could be even better. It could help you avoid scenarios like the one I just described above.
The mockups experience now has complete version history — making it easy to see who made updates when and to restore past changes.
Aha! was already the tool product managers used to set strategy, define features and requirements, and manage ideas. And with mockups, we gave you a single place to bring your feature definition together with wireframes and diagrams. Thousands of mockups have already been created and we know that customers love it because you told us.

Mockups leverage drag-and-drop functionality combined with an extensive library of thousands of shapes. And because it includes premade UI elements from Bootstrap, iOS, Android, and more, this makes it incredibly easy for anyone to quickly create a mockup or flowchart.
Mockups are also highly collaborative. All users can view mockups in Aha! — and those with Product Owner or Contributor user permissions can open and make edits directly to any mockup, even if they did not originally create it.
Here is how you can start collaborating with Aha! mockups for your next release:
Integrate mockups with feature definitions
Product Owners and Contributors can create product mockups in parallel with product requirements. This gives you a unified experience and a single tool for your product roadmaps, feature definition, idea management, and mockups.
Mockups can be created and edited from any description, notes field, or comment field across Aha!
Quickly create mockups with shapes, text, and images
Customize mockups to design and define what should be built. Choose from thousands of UI elements and common wireframing shapes to instantly communicate plans for new features or to visually highlight bug issues.
Thousands of shapes, forms, and other UI elements are included with the mockups library.
Use version history to make changes with no worries
As you iterate on mockups with your team during the design and research phase, you may want to reference past work. Now with the new version history, there is no need to sort through your downloads or email inbox to find that previous version. Or worse, worry that someone will save over what you painstakingly created. With complete version history, you can see who made the changes and when they were made.
Version history is not retroactive. With this release, any changes made to new or existing mockups will be captured in the history
Restore previous mockup versions
Sometimes you need to revert back to a previous version of your mockup. For example, user testing may suggest that a previous design is the better option. Product Owners and Contributors can now restore older versions without having to tweak the newest version to be more like an older one.
Quickly review the entire version history and restore past changes.
Aha! mockups allow you to incrementally communicate the desired user experience and start building the perfect new product feature — while creating a history of your work.
We hope our latest enhancement to mockups will help you better define customer requirements, ship more meaningful features, and love doing it.
