Just Launched! — A New Presentation Editor to Showcase Beautiful Product Roadmaps

It is roadmap showtime. You have set your strategy, reviewed customer ideas, and detailed features. Your boss loves what you did and wants you to present the product plan to the entire leadership team — tomorrow. Cold sweat. Speaking in front of management can be stressful. And creating an executive-level deck takes time.

You do not want to spend your night editing and building out slides. This is one reason why we created Aha! Notebooks. You can take nearly any view in Aha! and quickly package it into a presentation. You have ultimate control over how your product data is updated since all of that information is already in Aha! You can select whether you want to show a live view, refresh on update, or use a snapshot in time.

We know you love being able to quickly create and share your plans. You tell us every day. But we also know that you want more presentation capabilities. This is why we are excited to deliver one of the most popular requests in our ideas portal.

You can now add text, shapes, and images — and even insert your own custom slides — to make your presentation look exactly the way you want.

Our team has been testing out this new functionality over the past few weeks. We like it a lot. The new enhancements make it easy to quickly customize visual roadmaps and reports you build in Aha! — so you can contextualize your product plans and call out specific information.

Take a look at what you can do:

Create an Aha! Notebook
You can easily add nearly any view in Aha! to your presentation. If you have not yet added an Aha! Notebook, now is the perfect time. If you have already created one, you will notice that you can now select slides to edit.

You can add a view to an existing notebook or create a new one.

Highlight important information
You could always add beautiful roadmaps, reports, and other views to Aha! Notebooks. Now, you can also add text and shapes to your slides. Whether you need to highlight an important deadline or share how the plans have changed, these updates allow you to communicate key details.

You can also customize the background color, title header, and page orientation of your slides.

Upload external images
Add images to tell a deeper story. Spice up your features roadmap with a sketch to help the team visualize how the upcoming functionality will look.
Select an element on the slide to open the sidebar where you can further customize your work.

Add custom slides
Title slides, agendas, customer quotes — sometimes you just need a slide with few words on it. You can now enhance your presentation by adding a blank slide and making it your own.

Add title slides and then drag and drop them into the order you want.

Share via secure web page or PDF
After crafting the perfect product presentation for your audience, you are ready to show it off. Publish it via a secure web page so you will have the most up-to-date information on timelines and upcoming features. Or save it as a PDF to send out to the team.

You can add up to 40 slides in each Aha! Notebook.

We know how important it is to flaunt your roadmap in a stunning presentation that reflects the unique attributes of your product and team.

So, the next time the boss wants you to show off your awesome product plans with a last-minute presentation to management, no problem. You can be confident that Aha! will help you communicate your vision beautifully. Now go start presenting!

      Thanks for the question Rahul,

Notebooks are designed to be shared either by PDF or secure web page. The 40-page limit is meant to avoid performance issues that many browsers have when loading too much data.

Let us know what you think of the new notebook features!
